Environmental Commitment
Environmental management is an integral part that runs alongside the development process through various area monitoring and restoration programs. Every stage of development is carried out with attention to safety, environmental, and social aspects.
Various efforts such as revegetation, environmental monitoring, and area management continue to be carried out gradually as part of the project implementation. Through this approach, PT North Sumatra Hydro Energy (PT NSHE) strives to support the balance between infrastructure development and environmental conditions in the Batangtoru Hydropower Plant area.
Social Commitment
PT North Sumatra Hydro Energy (PT NSHE) believes that sustainable development also requires the involvement of communities around the project area. Therefore, various Community Development programs are carried out as part of the Batangtoru Hydropower Plant development.
These programs cover activities in education, health, economic empowerment, community capacity building, and support for various social activities in the surrounding region. Through collaboration with communities and stakeholders, PT NSHE strives to deliver benefits that can be felt sustainably.
